Vedic Art for a New Age

Vedic Art 108 is the home for artist Frances Knight’s series of paintings based on devatas from the vedic tradition and vedic masters, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, who brought the Transcendental Meditation (TM) technique to the west, and Guru Dev, Maharishi’s teacher.

Her art is a result of working directly with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi for many years, which is how she learned exactly how the vedic knowledge and Guru Dev should be portrayed. Due to her deep experience and unique knowledge of Maharishi’s vision, her paintings contain a profoundly devotional depth of feeling and lively consciousness.

About the Prints

These prints have been made to the highest archival quality and great care has been taken to ensure that the reproductions accurately represent the feeling of the originals. Each print comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.

Prints from original oil paintings are available in limited and open editions.

New editions and new images will become available over the coming months.

Frances Knight, a lifelong artist, has dedicated her work to creating profound pieces that honor Maharishi and the Holy Tradition. Chosen by Maharishi himself to paint the Holy Tradition, Frances carries a unique connection and understanding of this sacred work, embedding his vision and instructions into every stroke of her brush.

For decades, Frances has painted in her studio at MERU, a space where masterpieces honoring Maharishi and Guru Dev have come to life. However, this studio is set to be demolished. We need your support to help Frances secure a new studio in the MERU Apartment Building.
